Education Program

The Coronary Rehabilitation Department at kidderminster Hospital run a series of Health Education talks which are open to anyone diagnosed with a heart problem and their partners or friends.

These talks are held in Ward C1 at Kidderminster Hospital on Tuesday afternoons commencing at 1.30 p.m. and finishing at 2.30 p.m.

The sessions are informal, friendly and informative and time is allowed for you to ask questions if you wish.  Anyone who has previously attended any of these talks is welcome to return to "refresh" their knowledge.

     There are Four different talks on the following subjects :-

     Pharmacist

     Psychological Effects of a Heart Attack

     Exercise and Relaxation

     Dietician

In addition to these talks some Basic Life Support Sessions will also be held twice yearly.  Dates will be displayed on posters in the Cardiac Gym and everyone will be welcome to attend.

 If you feel you need advice and support you may drop in to the Cardiac Rehabilitation department in Ward C1 at Kidderminster Hospital.  No appointment is necessary.
